FAQ

1. Many times I catch myself making excuses to avoid exercising. How can I change that?

Exercise is a way of taking care of ourselves. It is a celebration for our mind and body, considering that our nervous system is responsible for controlling any movement. Keep this in mind. Repeat it to yourself, experience it. When you truly believe it, excuses will no longer fit into your thoughts.

2. I’m not sure which program to follow. How can I decide?

Together, we can choose the program that suits you best. Before your first session, we have a thirty-minute meeting either online or in person (if conditions permit), where we discuss your habits, preferences, potential movement limitations, and anything else that may concern you. We set your goals and get started.

3. I have never done Pilates, Booty Call, Yoga, or any other of the practices you offer before. Will I be able to cope?

Certainly! Our practices are designed to be accessible to participants of all levels, including beginners. Whether you have prior experience or not, you will be able to handle them. Our experienced instructors will provide the necessary guidance and modifications based on your level of fitness and experience. Don’t worry if you are new to these practices – everyone has to start somewhere, and our aim is to support and help you progress at your own pace.

4. I don’t have good balance. Can I participate in any of your practices?

Certainly. You can participate in any practice that you feel suits you. Balance is something that can be improved over time. From the early years of our lives, we learn how to balance, starting with our first steps. During your practice, focus on it, direct your attention to yourself, and you will be amazed at how well you can ultimately balance.

5. I exercise regularly and intensively. I am quite fit. Will I get bored with Pilates and Yoga?

Every form of exercise provides a different stimulus to our bodies. Our practices are designed in such a way that every practitioner, regardless of their level, can follow them safely and, at the same time, overcome their weaknesses and ultimately perform to the best of their abilities. Our experienced instructors will provide you with the necessary guidance and modifications based on your level.

6. On one side of my body, I feel that I perform the exercises better. Why does this happen?

The strength and flexibility of our bodies are influenced by our habits, the activities we do daily, the various repetitive movements, as well as the natural asymmetry of the human body. As long as this asymmetry is not due to an injury or condition, we continue to exercise both sides, perhaps with a little more attention to our weaker side. If you find that this asymmetry is limiting you, you can contact us to design together an individual training plan focused on strengthening the weaker parts and balancing, to the best extent possible, the two sides of the body.

7. Will I need any equipment for the online classes?

The essential equipment for all practices is a mat. We recommend a stable and preferably non-slip mat to ensure precision and stability in various positions. As for small equipment, resistance bands, dumbbells, a Pilates ring, a Swiss ball, yoga blocks, a yoga strap, etc., are welcome but not necessary from the beginning. Our advice is to start, see which practice suits you best, let our instructors guide you based on the available items in your space, and then acquire the necessary equipment after a few classes.

8. Until how many hours before a practice can I make a reservation / cancellation?

You can make reservations and cancellations up to 6 hours before the scheduled practice.

9. What clothes should I wear?

You can wear workout leggings, yoga pants, or shorts. Prefer clothes that you feel comfortable in.
